JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA® XC
Juvéderm Volbella® XC is a filler product designed to soften the appearance of vertical lip lines. It can also be used to add very subtle volume to the lips. Compared with other dermal fillers in the Juvederm family of products, Volbella has a lower concentration and consistency that makes it ideal to treat finer lines and creases.
What is JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA® XC made of?
Juvéderm Volbella® XC is made of hyaluronic acid, a sugar-based substance that is a natural component of the body. It is the ingredient found in the most popular dermal fillers available on the market today. XC stands for extra comfort, as it contains 0.3% lidocaine to reduce discomfort during and after treatment.
What makes JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA® XC unique?
This product uses a special blend of high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid that is stabilized with a proprietary cross-linking technology known as Vycross®. Compared to other Vycross® products, it’s concentration and consistency allow it to be used for more superficial injections, such as for the treatment of fine lines and creases.
How long does it last?

What are possible side effects?
The most common side effects include swelling, tenderness, bruising, firmness, lumps/bumps, redness, pain, discoloration, itching and dryness. Most side effects are mild or moderate and last 30 days or less.
