Dr. Michael Lum graduated with honors from Loma Linda University. He received his medical degree from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in 1989, and completed a general rotating internship at Lakeside Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. He was chief resident at the University of Kansas School of Medicine Family Practice Residency, and Board Certified in Family Practice. Academic endeavors included undergraduate research at Loma Linda University Medical Center, and graduate biostatistical research at Loma Linda University School of Health.
Post-doctoral passions are keenly focused on aesthetic medical knowledge and the plethora of soft-tissue injectables, especially in the field of facial aesthetics. Over the past decade, Dr. Michael Lum has lectured on a variety of injectables and laser procedures at numerous CME-accredited professional events throughout the country, including his alma mater, the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He has mentored physicians and health care providers from well over a dozen countries and U.S. territories. He was recently recognized by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for his contribution to ambulatory medical care and public health.
